I'm again back with another budget Thursday post. In this post I'm going to share with you pocket friendly yet so effective exfoliating clay. I'm talking about brand Za, thoroughly enjoyed using this mask, read on to find out why I love this so much!

Packaging : Za True White Exfoliating Clay comes in opaque tube packaging which is white in color and details are imprint with fushia color. It comes with a flip top packaging. It's quite sturdy & travel friendly as well!

My take on the product:

I'm really impressed with this white mineral clay mask which is made in Vietnam, actually clay mask are really good for oily & acne prone skin. This Za True White Exfoliating Clay one is really a winner in budget option. It has tiny granules which helps in scrubbing off the dead skin surface & instantly make any dull skin look radiant, that's why I love it so much. It doesn't strip off the skin, just remove the dirt & impurities from deep within the pores. It is white thick creamy in texture which spreads easily, I just keep it for about 5-8 mins till it half dry & then take off with light scrubbing motion. Results are fabulous! See swatches below:

At this price this is really awesome, very less amount is needed to cover entire face & will last you more than 4-5 months if used twice or thrice a week. Have been using this for so long & you can see I'm half way through it!

Final Verdict : Za True White Exfoliating Clay is the best clay mask option to get radiant skin within minutes that too pocket friendly. It makes your skin squeaky clean & refresh. Highly Recommended!

Packaging : My Nykaa matte nail paints comes in square bottle packaging with long handle which is really easy & comfortable to hold, gives the precise application. The body is matte in texture with Nykaa imprint on it. It comes with thick flat brush applicator which makes it convenient to spread the polish evenly. These nail paints are to be taken care of while travelling, they can lead to breakage if not packed properly, otherwise they're good!

What Brand Says: The Nykaa Matte Nail Polish Collection is Five Free means free from chemicals like toluene, DBP, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, camphor. It is not tested on animals (just on our team!) and contains no animal-derived ingredients.

Out of 12 shades I picked up two - Pink Meringue & Black Cherry Pie. I really liked how they've named them like chocolate, frosting, milkshakes, pie etc..

Texture & Consistency 

Pink Meringue : This is such a beautiful baby pink shade. It is the light shade which streaks on while application, though it's opaque but single coat is not enough to get that perfect finish. It has really thick consistency but one has to be really quick with the application because it dries fast (within seconds) into matte texture which makes it difficult to take off the streaky lines once set, further it takes 3-4 mins to completely dry in matte form. Black Cherry Pie : This is named as black cherry but it is dark deep maroon shade which is extremely gorgeous for upcoming fall season. It has really thin consistency which spreads easily without streaking your nails, though it's opaque but I love to apply two coats to get that superb matte finish. Impressive! I think dark shades won't streak as compare to lighter ones. Check out swatches below:

Staying Power : Talking about the staying power, regular Nykaa nails paints range have stayed on quite well for more than a week, these matte collection stays well for the entire week and finish is super classy I must say!

Final Verdict : The 12 newly launch Nykaa Matte Collection have light to darker shades for upcoming fall season 2016. These have very impressive matte texture, I've become a fan of such splendid matte nail paints. One has to be really quick with the application in order to avoid streaky lines because it sets very fast. If you're on budget & want to try nail paints that have completely matte feel then you should try at least one shade from this range. Highly Recommended!

Today's post is all about Sunscreen. It's a myth that you couldn't apply sunscreen after sunset, sunscreen should be taken off before going to bed. You should apply sunscreen even if you're indoors, especially in kitchen. Yes! you read it right kitchen because there is maximum heat while cooking which can lead your skin to dullness. In this post I'm going to talk about Avene Emulsion SPF 50+ Sunscreen basically for oily skin. So grab a cup of coffee & read on to find out more :

Packaging : Avene Very High Protection SPF 50+ Emulsion comes in sturdy tube type packaging with airless pump dispenser, which is very easy to use & spread out the product as much required, no mess at all.  The cap locks up effortlessly which makes it travel friendly too. Impressive!

My take on the product:

As I told you earlier sunscreens are very important whether you're indoor or outdoor. What if your sunscreen is waterproof & sweat-proof, it is indeed!

Texture of this sunscreen is a thick white cream which is really emollient, absorbs easily without making skin greasy or oily, within seconds it assumes matte finish. It stays on pretty well because of its water resistant feature. I use to sweat like hell & applying any sort of cream-sunscreen doesn't makes sense but this sunscreen has change my views. My skin feels more radiant, no white cast as mostly sunscreen would do. Even though I sweat it doesn't comes off on rubbing or blotting for next few hrs. After 5-6 hrs my skin feels little shiny, no issue it can easily be solve using blotting paper. I'm really impressed with the texture & consistency. It doesn't break me out not even once. This sunscreen is boon for oily skin people, can be use throughout  the year. It comes in other variant too for dry skin people.

The only thing I didn't like is the fragrance, it has flowery kinda smell which is little weird but gone away after sometime.

Now talking about the price & quantity, it is really a high end brand. At this price tag you get only 50 ml product, which fairly last you for more than 2-3 months because two-three pumps are required to cover entire face & neck. I don't mind splurging in when you get such a prominent & remarkable product.

Final Verdict : Avene Very High Protection SPF 50+ Emulsion is formulated for oily skin beauties, which is paraben free, hypoallergenique & non-comedogene, means suitable for acne prone skin too. It doesn't break me out neither form any whitish cast. Above all it is waterproof & sweat-proof, which is a blessing! I highly recommend this!

Lakme 9 to 5 Eye Quartet Desert Rose & Tanjore Rush : Review, Price & Swatches

Today I'll be talking about my cult favourite eye shadow quartet from our very known brand Lakme. This range has been launched long time back but these are my go to palette & I love experimenting with them. Read on to find out more:

Packaging : Lakme 9 to 5 eye quartet comes in sturdy square case packaging with name of the brand etched on transparent lid which can easily be lock at the end making it travel friendly. It contains 4 shades of radiant color transition and dual end sponge applicator, which I think nobody uses.

Shades Available : Tanjore Rush, Silk route & Desert Rose.

My take on the product:

These eye quartet are my basic favorite and have been using them for quite long time, made them as a part of my bridal trousseau also. I must say the color selection is resplendent & shining. Many different looks can be created from softer gold coppery eyes to bold olive green eyes. These are beautiful budget eye shadows quartet for beginners as well as for creating festive looks. Though some of the shades are less pigmented but can be work using primer on the lids, some are highly pigmented which didn't budge at all on my lids for 4-5 hrs (see swatches below). I picked up two - Desert rose & Tanjore rush !

Desert Rose

From Left to Right:

* Pure Bronze brown color, super pigmented shade in the quartet. It is the most beautiful shade for festive looks.

* This one is Copper shade with a mix of gold, another exquisite color from the quartet.

* It is a Pink champagne color which is not well pigmented & barely can see on pigmented lids, the least most used shade. I think it works as a highlighter, will try it :p

* It is light Yellow gold shade which is not pigmented at all. I have to swatch it couple of times & hardly it shows up. Can be used as to highlight inner corner of eyes.

Tanjore Rush

From Left to Right :

* This is an amazing Yellow gold shade which can be used to highlight inner corner of eyes, brow bone or can be used as transition color with the next two shades. It is less pigmented but can be work with primer as base.

* This one is a perfect blend of Copper + Bronze + Gold. I totally love this shade for festive looks. (See the pics below).

* My the most favorite shade among the two quartets, Olive gold color which is amazingly pigmented & look marvelous on fair to medium skin tones. I love this !

* This last one is a Bluish purple shade which is another super pretty shade but unfortunately I have to swatch it couple of times to show it on my lower lash line in the pic below.

In the above pic I have created olive gold eyes with a hint of purple on lower lash line from the tanjore rush quartet & paired it up with blue based fushia lip shade. I love how the look turned out!

Staying Power : As you have seen swatches above some of the shades are quite pigmented which stays long for 4-5 hrs but some are rarely shown up while swatching & staying power is hardly 1-2 hrs. These are not waterproof & can easily be remove with mild makeup remover.

Final Verdict : I highly recommend the shade Lakme 9 to 5 Tanjore Rush  to all the makeup beginners & to those who are on budget.

It also comes with a round tin lid which is used to pour your liquid foundation for instant use, can be wash to use it all over again.

Colors Available : It comes in two color- white & black. White named as naked while Black named as lust. I picked up Lust!

My take on the product :

The moment I had this in my hand, it felt super soft & cushiony. It has perfect tear drop shape, latex free which makes this perfector inimitable. When it is dry, it is small in size - when it gets wet it enlarges & becomes a size bigger. Squeeze all the excess water and wait for ten minutes to use this for liquid or cream based products. YBP makeup perfector seamlessly blends any makeup means whether it liquid or powder foundation, concealer, blush, compacts, highlighter onto your skin using dabbing motion without leaving your skin cakey or heavy, skin feels like it has no makeup on it which is really commendable for this humid weather & I was amazed by how flawless makeup base it has created, you can see that in pictures below.

The tip shape can be use for concealer application in the inner corner & round base shape can be use for liquid or powder foundation application. It can be best used for contouring as well. Using this for past two weeks & washed couple of times after use it hasn't torn or changed it's shape. This has become my HG makeup perfector from past few days. Since it is easy to wash & the unique storage container makes it really effortless to air dry on its own. I don't own the original beauty blender so can't compare this but it is far much better than real techniques miracle sponge.

Final Thoughts : YBP makeup perfector in lust has become my HG beauty blender because of its ultimate cushiony & spongy texture. It comes with one of a kind multi-functional container which has holes in it so that you can keep your cleaned & washed makeup perfector for air dry on its own. Top 5 Brown Eyeliner/Kajal in India : Review, Price & Swatches

Rimmel London Scandaleyes - 003 Bad Girl Bronze (Rs 415)

This is such a beautiful bronze shade which is my cult favourite as an eye shadow base. Its a thick pencil with transparent cap and colored end. Its a little bit on drier side which makes it really tough to smudge once set but shade is so pretty that I have been using this since last 8-10 months. The only drawback is the product wastage while sharpening and mine pencil is on other level means the colored stick has come out from the pencil, now I'm wondering how will I use it, other than that it is affordable shade, easily available on flipkart & nykaa. Bourjois Paris Contour Clubbing Waterproof - 49 Crazy About Brown (Rs 445)

This is a little bit similar to rimmel's one in context of texture. Its a sleek long colored body pencil which could be easily come across in your makeup stash. It is so comely shade which contain a bit a gold tint to it (see swatch below), have been using this on my waterline. The only drawback with these wooden kajals is the product wastage while sharpening. I think the price is quite affordable and it is the best option for fair skinned ladies to highlight the waterline.

Lakme Eyeconic - Brown (Rs 199)

Lakme eyeconic range has been the most raved kajal in the Indian market but my all time favourite is the shade brown. I'm on my third kajal , damn so addicted to this. It comes in black colored sleek retractable pencil form which is the best way to avoid product wastage. Talking about texture, its soft but sets quickly so one has to smudge it really fast in order to have smokey eye. If you have dry lids, I would suggest you to prime up your lids then it will spread easily without tugging. It stays fairly whole day long without smudging or transferring to socket line. If you're on budget this is the best option. Easily available & quite affordable.

Colorbar Just Smokey - Just Brown (Rs 650)

Colorbar just smokey in shade just brown is such an alluring shade, perfect blend of copper, bronze & gold. It glides on so effortlessly & doesn't budge or smudge for the entire day. It comes in color coded wooden pencil with smudger at the other end. The only drawback is to sharpen the pencil which leads to product wastage, other than that this is my cult favourite. Lakme Absolute Forever Silk - Earth Line (Rs 425)

As the name suggests forever silk, it is as emollient as silk, glides on like dream, super soft & highly pigmented among these. Lakme kajals comes in retractable pencils form which makes them outstanding & worth trying just because there is no product loss. Due to its silky texture, it can be smudge really effortlessly & stays on for quite long. Price-wise its quite reasonable. Here are the swatches below :

Final Verdict : I love using brown eyeliners in summers because they are not harsh like regular black liners/kajals. My personal favourite is Lakme eyeconic & Colorbar just smokey! Which one are your favourites? Please share your comments below!
